Geography Culminating Activity
You will create an Olympic Village Map
Your village must include a scale to show kilometres across the village
All the necessary site and situation factors that would draw people to choose this location for an Olympic Village.
Think about, physical features ( land and water) Agriculture farming and crops, Climate, Available power, and access to your village from other parts of the world.
Consider the conveniences that would be necessary to make it possible to host the Olympic Games in your Village
Be sure to include :
Residential, Educational
Business, Industrial
Health, and Recreational facilities.
You must show the population of your village, the square kilometres
and calculate the population density of your village.
Finally there must be a legend to explain your Village Map.
Please remember to put your name and your home room teacher’s name
on the back of your map.
