Language: Students will be completing monthly book reports. The type of
book report will vary from month-to-month. Students will also be completing
bi-weekly oral presentations based on World Events
We will begin the New Year off by investigating common forms of media and
techniques used by advertisers. At the end our our unit of study students
will create their own ad campaign.
Students will also be writing picture books on a topic of choice.
Mathematics: There will be weekly math quizzes based on topics covered
throughout the week. These will occur every Friday. Students MUST bring a
scientific calculator to school. We will be studying Transformations.
Science: we are studying Life Systems.
Phys. Ed.: Please make sure that your child has appropriate gym clothes and
shoes at school each day.
Religion: This month we will be looking the importance of forgiveness.
