| Objective:
To assess students understanding of the overall curriculum expectations for
the strands being reported on.
Expectations for Term 1:
Student identifies and explains the themes of geographic inquiry, the
patterns in physical geography and the factors that produce them. Student
creates and uses maps for a variety of purposes.
Expectations for Term 2:
Student describes how human acquire, manage, and use natural resources, and
identifies factors that affect the importance of those resources. Student
communicates the results of inquiries for specific purposes and audiences
using oral presentations, diagrams, maps, models, and graphs.
Expectations for Term 3:
This subject is not reported on this term.
