Fossil_Plate_trifoldSG.pdf April 26 and 27: Trifolds were due today. We began our Physics unit and were assigned an egg re-entry vehicle. ERV needs to be in class May 4 and 5. May 2 and 3: Took physics notes and worked on ERVS. Homefun is to finish ERV and read Chapter 1.1 in FORCES AND MOTION on-line. May 4 and 5: Tested and discussed our ERVS. Homefun is to draw a picture of your first ERV design (prototype) and a picture of your FINAL design, with labels and an explanation of the changes you would make. Also, bring in 2 raw eggs and 2 plastic sandwich bags. May 6 and 9: Today in class we graded our reading homework, completed the vocabulary foldy and watched a video. Bring ERVS and eggs and your egg drawing next class. May 10 and 11: Today in class we did the SPEED LAB. Write up is due next class. Homefun is to read Chapter 1, section 2 and complete the REVIEW AND REINFORCE worksheet (purple) May 12 and 13: Today in science, we reviewed the speed lab and took notes on dimensional analysis. Homework is the dimensional analysis worksheet. May 16 and 17: Today in science, we dropped our egg vehicles. Homework is to bring in a package of 20" x 30 " tissue paper and a dispenser of 3/4 " transparent tape. May 18 and 19: Today in science, we worked on our ERV data analysis. Homework is to read Chapter 1.3 online and answer questions 1- 5 at the end of the reading. BE SURE TO BRING IN TISSUE PAPER FOR HOT AIR BALLOONS AND MONEY FOR JAPAN RELIEF. May 20 and 23: Today in science we reviewed acceleration. We watched a video about MOMENTUM.
