I graduated from Humboldt State University in in 1980 with a degree in
Wildlife Management. I have been teaching since 1989, with experience in
special education, health, math, language arts and science. My hobbies
include reading, singing with a local community choir, cooking, winemaking
and gardening
Our mission in science classes at AMS is to learn to think, read and write
like scientists, and to prepare our students to be critical thinkers in a
fast-changing world. We will be doing this through a variety of hands-on
projects, research, discussion, labs, readings, art and written assignments.
