Students have been given an assignment sheet for the year. The
homework expectations will be
consistent throughout the year. There will be occasional activities that
need
to be finished at home that
should be written in your student's planner. Please check this and
communicate
to me in the planner or
using the online calendar and email if you have questions.
Monday: 45 min. reading, GAB log signed by parent
Tuesday: 45 min. reading, begin studying spelling words or root words for quiz
Wednesday: 45 min. reading
Thursday: 45 min. reading, vocabulary assignment, quiz of Friday (spelling,
root words)
Friday: 1 hour of writing over the weekend- freewrite or assigned topic
Large projects will be given each term. Please check under "What's going on

Class" and then under Special
Projects for more details about these larger projects.
