Yearbook Instructions

Instructions for our Yearbook

Our Yearbook is a cooperative project where each family prepares an 8 1/2 by 11 inch page (with 1/2 inch
borders, portrait style) that exemplifies their family's homeschool for the year (usually photos with comments,
child artwork, poems, etc). The family's page submission may be put in a PDF format and emailed to dglarabee@yahoo.com or submitted as a physical page (which will be scanned), or put on a CD and given to Dwight or Gail Larabee. All pages are
converted to pdf format for submission to the printers on a cdrom disk. The cost of the yearbook will depend
upon how many families will be submitting a page as well as how many copies will be requested.

If your family is interested in being part of the yearbook, please let me know (Gail Larabee) by Monday, April 9, 2012 along with how many copies you would like.   Sign up occurs before pages are handed in to estimate cost
(usually around $10/bk). Unfortunately, there are no cancellations or refunds once you sign up and/or pay as
each member affects the cost for all.

The Yearbook will be handed out at Promotion Night. It is essential that the instructions on the template
(http://www.teacherweb.com/OR/Cedar/ChurchHomeschoolSupportGroup/photo3.stm) are followed for your
family yearbook page (due to printing requirements).

The date for submission of the yearbook page is Wednesday, May 16, 2012.   Once I get a price from the printers,
I will let you know and will need to be paid when you submit your page.  Timely submissions are greatly appreciated.

This is a wonderful family project recapping the school year.  Have fun putting it together and we will all enjoy
each family’s page.  If you have any questions or input re: the yearbook, please email me privately at

Also, if you know of any homeschooling families who are not on this email list, please make a copy of this email
and give it to them.

Lastly, here is a website that is free to help with your photo editing:  http://www.picnik.com/  If you have never
done something like this before, I would encourage you to begin now and explore the picnik site mentioned
above.

Please, no professional photos due to copyright issues unless you have a waiver that I can show to the printer.

Thanks!

Dwight and Gail Larabee
