How much homework should I expect?

Students will be required to read some personal choice novels outside of 
class. The daily assignments are designed to complete in class if students
are on task.

Can I eat food, candy, or snacks during class?

No, unless the school nurse informs the teacher that a student has a medical 
need for food during class time.

Can I drink beverages in class?

Only water in a plastic container.

Can I use a cell phone during class?

Cell phones are not allowed in the classroom if visable or turned on. Please 
keep cell phones out of sight and off.

Can I use an Ipod or other electronic devices for listening to music?

Not during class. Keep all electronic devices, games, and head phones locked 
up during class.

How often should students check their class grade?

Students should always know what their class grade is and also know what 
assignments they are missing. The teacher will give each student a grade and
assignment summary printout every two weeks. If students would like to
check their grades at other times, they can come to the class before or
after school to do so.
