Student accountability is a MUST. For that reason, I do not accept late work for full
credit. Situations vary from day to day and from student to student. I will work
individually with each student to ensure that each student is being treated fairly while
still learning that a deadline is a deadline. Certainly if a student and his/her family is
experiencing a crisis, that will be taken into consideration. However, I do not want to
see students getting into the habit of turning work in late or making excuses for not
getting work turned in on time. As always, I will communicate with the parent and/or
guardian and work to resolve any problems that arise in this area.
