New Year Message

Congratulations !!    We are just about half way through this school year, and starting a new year.

 Way to go everyone !! 

To get 2012 kicked off in the right spirit of learning and becoming better mathematicians let's review 
our mathematical expectations.

We will abide by the Kennedy Culture in and out of class.  

PRIDE

POSITIVE:  actively participate in positive ways, follow directions, use positive comments, encourage 
others to excel, work well in groups.

RESPECT:  use good listening skills, respect other learners, use respectful words and tone of voice, work 
constructively and calmly, leave others property alone.

INTEGRITY:  honest and trustworthy, does the right thing, respectful to guest teachers, responsible for 
words and actions.

DISCIPLINE:  seated and ready to go when class begins, brings materials, aoids socializing and 
impulsiveness, begins work promptly.

EXCELLENCE:  puts best effort into work, always does their best, work is complete and on time, makes 
and effort to learn.

We will abide by the Math Culture in class. The Math Cutlture is to:

Be present, prompt and prepared.
Respect others: their person, property and space.
Use class time for mathematics.

Please review the homework policy and make sure that you are doing your best work and it meets 
the highest standards of excellence.
