Appropriate Items for Sharing
Students may bring items from home that relate to our word study such as:
Things that rhyme, things that begin with the letter of the week, a journal
they kept during vacation, or a book that they authored and illustrated.
They may also share their adventures in losing a tooth or going on vacation
with their family.
Items that are not for Sharing need to stay safely at home.
Sharing items are to stay in the student’s cubby until it is time to share
with the class.
*Sharing starts September 8th and ends May 28th

All About Me
Students will have an opportunity to make a display that will highlight
their family and some of their favorite things. Your teacher will assign a
week during the school year for each student to have their display up on
the “All About Me” bulletin board.
Some ideas for the display: What I want to be when I grow up; My favorite
book; My family; My favorite things to do; Places I have traveled; My
favorite colors; My pet; My favorite sport; I am special because; Use
pictures from magazines, photos, and/or make drawings.
