Please refer to these Guidelines when planning lessons to cover important 
learning concepts.  You will find “Concepts”, “Essential Learnings”, 
and “Activities/Assessment for Teacher/Children” within the pages of this 
document.

Early Childhood Guidelines are available from OCE, or you may visit the 
website of the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education to reference or 
download them at www.archphila.org.  Click on Education, Our Schools –
