The Early Childhood Curriculum Committee of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
exists to serve the needs of the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten teachers,
classrooms and students. The members of this committee are all degreed and
certified teachers whose teaching expertise is in the area of Early
Childhood Education most particulary Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
The Early Childhood program is developmentally appropriate centered on
meeting the needs of the individual student at the maturation level each
child brings to the Early Childhood Classroom.
Concentration is given to Pre-Reading and Pre-Math skills with an emphasis
on Differentiated Instruction so that those students able to move along at a
more rigorous pace are able to do so while assisting those who need time to
gain these pre-learning skills.
