Children need to be familiar with the types of questions that are on the
exam. After the children have practiced identifying and writing figurative
language, let them practice with the figurative language questions that are
on the exam forms A, B, and C. After the children have practiced with
complete subject and predicate and subject and predicate main words, quiz
them using test items from exam forms A, B, and C. Next, following the
format of the test items, you and/or your children can create similar
questions following the same pattern.
