CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: A LIGHT FOR EVERY GENERATION AND WE ARE THE ONES TO KEEP THIS FLAME BURNING IN OUR TIME AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS!

February, 2012

Dear Parents,

Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.
Where charity and love are, there is God.

The results of bringing God into our lives are the gifts of charity and love which are shared with one another. These gifts result in the virtues of cooperation and community-building that ABVM School will focus on this month. These virtues find a place not only within our school and families, but very much so within our community. As we look forward to Cardinal Foley Regional School, we recognize that only with the Lord as our center can the cooperation and community-building necessary for the success of the new venture be realized.

In what ways do we enhance cooperation and community-building at this time about Cardinal Foley Regional School? The primary way we engender these qualities is through reliance on the Lord in prayer and celebration of the Eucharist. As we join together each day in prayer in school and at home, and in our faith community that comes together each weekend at Mass, we need to ask the Lord’s favor upon this mission – the creation of Cardinal Foley Regional School.

Additionally, through our service that will be required in the months ahead and through the conversations that occur both formally and informally, we are invited to extend cooperation and community-building within our parish and with the parishioners of our neighboring parish. What we do and what we say will communicate to our children and to others how we feel about the future of Catholic education.

Let us use this month wisely in developing our ABVM virtues of cooperation and community-building so that we can celebrate God’s presence among us now and in the future.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Mary Ann De Angelo
Principal

Mrs. Cathleen Lamberto
Assistant Principal

If you require financial aid or encounter an unexpected difficulty in making your tuition payments, please arrange to discuss your financial situation with the new Tuition Review Board. This three-member group is comprised of Judy Welde and two former school parents: Harry Quinn and Timothy Rice. All discussions are confidential. The Board will assess your financial situation and attempt to arrange suitable terms to ensure tuition payments are made and your children continue to receive a Catholic education at Annunciation. Several families already have taken advantage of the services offered by the Tuition Review Board.
