Welcome to 3rd grade! We look forward to a wonderful year with you and your
child. We will begin the year taking the time to get to know your child and
to start with our regular subjects.
In Reading, we will focus on the following skills and strategies throughout
the year; re-read, self-questioning, predicting, clarifying, summarizing, ...
In Math,we will start the year learning about bar graphs, line graphs, and
pictographs.
In Science, we will start with a unit on Sound and in Social Studies, the
first unit will be about Heritage.
