                                               Mrs. Riehl


Dear Kindergarten Families,

           Let me introduce myself… My name is Mrs. Riehl. I have previously 
taught 3rd and 4th grade at Williams Twsp. Elementary. Since my maternity 
leave, I have been teaching kindergarten at Avona Elementary. I am really 
enjoying my teaching experience here. I grew up in the Easton 
Area, and still reside here with my husband, my two sons, Logan and Benjamin, 
and my dog, Carter. I have experience with children not only as a school 
teacher, but as a dance instructor as well.
	I am looking forward to an exciting school year. We have so many new 
and interesting things to learn in kindergarten. Get ready to read many 
wonderful stories, and tell stories of your own. We will learn about letters 
and letter sounds, shapes, and numbers. Cutting paper, gluing, and forming 
letters correctly on paper will help refine our fine motor skills. Science 
and Social Studies will also be a part of our kindergarten experience. We 
will learn all about ourselves, weather, and trees. These are only 
a few of the new concepts we will embark on during our kindergarten journey. 
So buckle up your seat belt, and get ready to blast off into a new and 
exciting year!
