END OF YEAR TESTING

End of year testing is fast approaching.  All levels will take a cumulative exam the week of June 4.  
Second level students:  The exam will be given on Friday, June 8.  All questions will be read to students and students will be coached individually if needed.  If the exam is not completed on Friday, students will have 30 minutes on Monday to complete the exam.  The major concepts covered in the exam are operations, place value, and some measurement skills.

Sixth level students:  This exam will be given on Friday, June 8.  Students will be coached individually if needed and all test questions will be read to students if requested.  If students have not completed the exam on Friday, additional time will be given on Monday, June 11.  The major concepts covered in the exam are rational numbers and their operations.  This includes decimals and fractions.  Calculators will be permitted.

Pre-Algebra:  The math final for Pre-Algebra students will be given over two days.  On Friday, June 8 students will complete the section that has a mix of vocabulary, diagrams, and matching.  On Monday, June 11, students will take the computational part of the final.  They will have an hour in the morning and most of them will have an additional half-hour in the afternoon.  Calculators will be permitted.
