Welcome to a new school year! I wish everyone success, which will happen as
a result of your hard work. Put your best effort in this year and stay
focused!
My Sophomore English and Scholar Sophomore English classes will begin the
year with a unit on William Shakespeare and his play Julius Caesar.
Hopefully this will be fairly fresh on students' minds as they read Romeo and
Juliet in the spring of their freshman year. In October we will be studying
grammar which leads into the research paper unit taking place during the
months of November and December.
In the spring we will be reading two novels, poetry, and short stories.
