Ms. Murphy’s Classroom Rules & Consequences

Rules :

1)      Be Respectful to others and yourself. Students are to respect the teacher, their peers, and guests in the classroom.

2)      Be Prepared. Students are to come to class with everything they will need. They should come with a book, notebook or binder, pen/pencil, and homework.

3)      No Cheating. No cheating on homework, tests or quizzes.

4)      Do not talk when someone else is talking.

Consequences:

Step One :  Receive a verbal warning.

Step Two :  Student will be told to sit in the hall for a while. Then I will be having a chat with the student.

Step Three : If the student continues to be a disruption then the student is choosing detention.

Ms. Murphy’s Expectations

1)      Be Prepared. In your seat, book open, pen/pencil, and homework out.

2)      Be RESPECTFUL of others when they are talking.

3)      There will be homework almost every night. If it is not turned in it is late and will be marked 10% off each day it is late. If you do not put your name on your paper, I will throw it out.

4)      Cheating will not be tolerated. You will receive a zero.
