Mrs. Solan graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in
Elementary Education. She received her Master's degree in School Psychology
from Duquesne University. She has taught in the Diocese of Greensburg for 17
years and enjoys her mission as Administrator of Conn-Area Catholic.
She is the mother of four and loves being in a Christian educational
environment.
Each year our school establishes short term school goals, as well as,
having long term goals.
We are Middle State Accredited and our long term goal is "Writing Across the
Curriculum.
Our 2006-2007 school goals is to establish a teacher web page for each
teacher
and implement wireless technology into our school program.
We currently have a fully equipped computer lab with 24 computers with access
to the internet. Our library is equippped with 5 computers with access to
the
internet. With the implementation of wireless technology--our students will
have access to the internet in all their classes.
The most important aspect of our school is our Catholic Religious thrust.
This year we have chosen the virtuen of Faith and Education and each child
received a pen that said, "Jesus is our inspiration".
