The Safety Contract must be completed the first week of the marking
period. Specific, safety activities must be completed before students are
permitted to use hand tools, power tools, and machines. Students are to
contact the instructor for make-up assignments when returning from an
absence. Extended time may be available upon request. See your instructor to
discuss options for makeup work.
Generally, projects should be completed and graded on the date announced in
class.Once the project is graded, it may be taken home. Complete all steps in
the procedure. Credit will only be given for approved projects. Students are
responsible for storing their projects in the assigned location. All graded
projects must be taken home before the marking period ends. Due to space
limitations, all unclaimed projects will be discarded shortly after the
marking period ends. Specific details of projects will be provided in class.
