 Mission Statement

Empowered by the witness and lives of St. Katharine Drexel and St. John Neumann, Drexel Neumann Academy is committed to providing a Catholic elementary school education in a multicultural environment to the children of Chester. Franciscan spirituality and diversified instruction will promote an environment which recognizes the giftedness of each child.

Drexel Neumann Academy is an independent Catholic school for students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth, sponsored by Neumann College, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Katharine Drexel Parish, and the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia.

 Update

The month of June began with the Scholarship Banquet hosted by Neumann University. We are very grateful to Sister Pat and the committee for all their efforts. Nine of our students received scholarships! The banquet was wonderful and we were very proud of all our scholars! We are keeping in our prayers in a special way this month our graduates! We are very proud of them! They will always have a very special place in our hearts and our prayers. This summer there are many wonderful activities for our students, including a program with the Philadelphia Flyers! We are grateful to everyone who comes together for our students.
   
School News Updates

Uniforms

Please make sure your child is wearing the winter uniform, including the school sweater. We do not want children wearing coats during the school day.
 

Tuition Payments

Tution for the 2009-1020 school year will be $2,250.00. If you applied for tuition assistance, you should have received a letter notifying you of the amount available. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
 

Uniform Exchange

We are trying to build up our uniform exchange, so please feel free to send in any clean uniforms. If you are in need of any uniform items, please let us know. We would be happy to see if we have anything available.
 

School Handbook

Please take time to review the handbook which was distributed at the beginning of the year. We are very grateful for your support of our school rules and policies.
 

2009-2010 Registration

Please call the school office at 610.872.7358 to request registration materials for the 2009-2010 school year. We will take registrations on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Please send in registrations ASAP, as some classes are filling up quickly.

Dr. Mirenda and Neumann University for hosting our Scholarship Banquet and Graduation Ceremony. Sr. Pat Hanway and the Scholarship Committee for their efforts on behalf of our students and the scholarships awarded.
 

Spirit Wear

We will be sending home order forms if you are interested in ordering DNA spirit wear, including hoodies, shorts, and long sleeve tee shirts.
