SPELLING: Every week we will take a pretest on the weekly spelling words. From your pretest ,I will form a list of 15 words for each student. Study the words on your list for Friday's spelling test. Students words should be in the cover of their red take home folder. Words are also written in the weekly agenda books.

We are currently working in Unit _1_. Everyone should bring a quiet reading book to class. Book It will be beginning in October. The kids are encouraged to read for 15 minutes Monday through Friday. They should have their monthly calendar in their agendas signed. I will check the calendar at the end of the month to reward with Pizza Hut passes.
Class Novels....Book Groups will be meeting during Guided Reading. Be sure to do your assigned readings and activities.
