*I rarely assign homework from our texts and learning materials.
If your child cannot finish his/her work during the day then time is not
being used wisely. My policy is to keep students after school for 30-60
minutes if they have not completed the work for the day. I will send home a
note for you to sign and make a phone call to you so that I know you have
approved this. This policy ensures that your student will be successful and
not receive low grades for not turning work in. You will be notified the day
that the work is not complete so that he/she can stay sometime within that
week. My grading policy is under the FAQ section.
*If you would like your child to work on something at home, he/she can
do Study Island or read. The students have a 6 week assignment due for each.
* Our complete textbook is on-line. Your child has an account with a
usename and password. If he/she needs to complete work from the text, it is
accessible from any computer with internet.
