Thanksgiving is on its way and we give thanks for you everyday:) Coming
up... we are continuing to work on different content area skills. We want to
work on learning our letters and sounds along with numerals and counting. We
are also continuing with writing our names and drawing pictures (writing
letters), learning about concepts of print (letter/word, title of story,
directionality,etc.)sorting items by size, shape and color, rhyming words,
learning how to draw shapes and writing numbers. We are going to be painting
still life (on the horns of plenty) and painting turkeys, making Thankful
hats, playing turkey games and songs, cutting out words and pictures from
grocery flyers, and gluing feathers on our own turkeys. We are so thankful for
our friends and families...Happy Thanksgiving!
