The Pennsylvania Public School Code requires health screenings for all school
children specific to their grade level. All students in the GNA School
District will be provided these screenings in a private and confidential
manner. Registered nurse's at the school your child attends will perform the
screenings. Parents will be notified if their child fails the school screening
with the recommendation for a follow-up by your family physician. All school
screenings will be provided free of charge; however, the cost of any private
screenings will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. At the GNA High
School, a schedule of these health screenings will be on the calendar posted
