I am proud to be an administrator at the Greater Nanticoke Area School

counselor, assistant high school principal, high school principal, and
currently the principal at the KM Smith and Kennedy Elementary Schools.
I graduated from Wilkes University, twice, with a bachelors degree in French
and a masters degree in Elementary Education. My Masters degree in Secondary
Counselor Education was obtained from Scranton University. I completed my
course work for a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Temple
University. My disertation needs to be completed at Temple to complete my
doctorate degree.
I am certified as a French teacher K-12, elementary teacher, secondary
guidance counselor, secondary principal, assistant superintendent, and
superintendent.
Our school goals are to enable all of our students to become well educated
so that they may function well in today's ever changing society. The well
educated person is not just "book smart" but also possesses the skills
necessary to be a contributing member of society. These skills include
simple ideas such as good manners, and the abilty to undestand the
importance of everyone; but also more complex skills such as the abilty to
form relationships with others that are meaningful and long lasting. We
want all of our students to be well equipped to face the challenges of life
in our complex world.
