To create an environment that will enable every student to meet the challenge
of tomorrow through the required acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and
self-esteem essential to adapt to our
ever-changing society.
Educational Center Vision Statement
The Greater Nanticoke Area Educational Center will provide and promote
educational opportunities that will prepare all of our
students for success in high school and beyond.
Goals
-All students, in accordance with the AYP standards set by the Pennsylvania
Department of Education, will be proficient in Reading and Math.
-Instructional design in classrooms will be based on ongoing assessment of
student needs.
-Teachers will be involved in professional development that promotes the
values and mission of Greater Nanticoke Area School District.
-Teachers will deliver curriculum aligned to the Pa. Academic Standards.
-The Greater Nanticoke Area Educational Center will be a place where
students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the community at large will
work collaboratively to achieve our goals.
