Hello,
I am Mr. Prushinski. I am a science teacher here at GNA. I would like to
tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from King's College with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I am currently working on my first
Masters degree in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University. I have a
certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in the subject area
of Biology.
I am a fan of all sports, but football is my main addiction. I am a huge
Philadalephia Eagles fan. In addition i'm a life long fan of the Penn State
Nittany Lions. I also love to be outdoors. I hunt and fish in
my free time. If you have any good outdoor stories, stop in.
I am a true lover of science and discovery. I hope you too can acquire an
appreciation for science in our time together. If you have any questions
about science I would be more than happy to give them a shot and if I'm not
sure we'll find the answer together.
I am very open to helping you or taking questions about material out of
class. I am available 7th period for any additional help you may require. I
would like to say, the best way for you or YOUR PARENTS to get a hold of me
is by emailing me. If you go to the email link at the bottom of the menu on
the left of this screen you will be sent directly to my email. PLEASE LEAVE
YOUR EMAIL ADRESS IN THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW
ME TO RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL!!!
Mr. Prushinski
I have very few classroom rules. In fact there are only five. They are:
1. NO CELLPHONES - They are a distraction for you, me and the entire class.
2. NO FOUL LANGUAGE - It is not befitting young men and women of your caliber.
3. NO FOOD OR DRINK - It is not sanitary in a science class or lab.
4. NO CHEATING - This is your warning so if you are caught you WILL get a 0.
5. ALL OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICT RULES APPLY - Just in case I missed anything.
I do, however, have many expectations of you. To summarize my expectations
of you, I would like to say that you are expected to: act as mature young
adults, take an active role in your education and show all other students,
faculty and staff the respect they deserve.
If you can follow these rules and live up to these expectations, we will have
a lot of fun. I like to joke and laugh, but when there is work to be done I
am all business. Please don't take my good nature for granted.
