GRADING POLICY FOR 6th GRADE SCIENCE

In every quarter there will be approx. 10 grades which get averaged together to make up each student's quarterly grade. Each of the 10 grades will be worth 100 points each. The 10 grades will consist of chapter tests, quizzes, homework/classwork assignments, and a notebook grade.

Example on how this grading policy works:

GRADES: 100, 95, 83, 85, 70, 100. 65, 90, 100, 89 (add them all together, then divide by 10) = 87.7 (0.5 -----> will be rounded up), so the quarter grade will then be an 88.
