Hi I'm Gianna I'm the class reporter. Fith grade is so much fun! We are
learning so many cool things. In Social Studies, we are doing really
interesting photo stories. We are working with a team to create a
computerized Photo Story telling about The Explorers. In Science, we are
studying about the human body, and all its systems. It is really cool! Math
is not my favorite subject, but we are learning really interesting things
like division.
This week is a very short week because of Thanksgiving. Next week our
class is going on a field trip. We are going to see a play called The
Nutcracker. We have field trips about every other month. They are all very
fun. This will be the first field trip of the year. I can't wait!
Every week we have a spelling pretest then on Friday we have a spelling
test on the words. We also read a short story each week. Fist we listen to
the story,next we read the story aloud together, then we talk about it.
every Thursday we have a test about the story to refresh our memories.
Fith grade so far has been really fun. I can't wait to learn more. I
hope to have a wonderful school year!
