My name is Ms Denise Duszak, and I will be your 4th grade teacher at Grey
Nun Academy for the 2010-2011 school year. This is my third year as part of
the GNA family and I there is no where else I would rather be! GNA is a
special place and I feel blessed to be a part of this community.
I was born and raised in Bensalem, PA, where I attended St. Charles for grade
school, then went on to Villa Joseph Marie. After high school, I attended
George Mason University in Virginia. I decided that warm winters were
calling my name, so I moved to Naples, Florida for several years after
college, where my teaching career began! After 3 years of teaching at a
small Catholic school, I moved "home". Though the winters were a difficult
readjustment, I love being back in the Northeast.
I strongly believe in the value of Catholic education, and have been proudly
teaching in wonderful Christian environments for the past 4 years.
Our mission for 4th grade is:
* to excel in all areas of academics, while understanding that each student
is unique in skills and personality.
* to develop key social skills, both in and outside of the classroom, always
remembering that Jesus is present in each one of us.
* to understand that no matter what our strengths and weaknesses are, giving
100% will be rewarded and end in success. As a teacher, I hold high
expectations for my students. We will continually challenge ourselves this
year, in learning, effort, and attitude.
