| Library books are due on the students scheduled library day each week. If
they are absent the books should be returned when they come back to school.
If there is a school holiday on their library day the books can before the
holiday, or on the day the students return from the holiday.
Students in grades 3 - 8 receive a library grade on their report card.
The students in grades three through 5 have a reqularly scheduled library
class each week. Their grade consists of an average of all tests, and a
grade that represents their responsiblity in returning books on time. They
will lose 5 points if they forget books on library day. I have asked the
teachers not to allow them to make phone calls home to have parents bring
forgotten books. A reminder is posted on the library homework page and the
teachers homework page as well. Part of learning to use the library is
returning books on time.
