Ms. Rowan has been the Librarian at Grey Nun Academy since September of
1997. In that time we have moved from the old method of signing out books
by cards and using the file cards in the card catalog, to an automated
library system. The students enjoy using the online card catalog. This year
the Grey Nun Academy Library is joining ACCESS Pennsylvania. This will
allow us free acess to the POWER Library databases, which are useful for
research. This promises to be an exciting school year, with much to look
forward to. There will be the annual Book Fair, Adopt A Book, and Reading
Olympics.
