Mm- Many Merry Monkeys are marching in a parade……! That’s the march we do around the classroom as we practice the sound of the letter Mm. We make Mms with our bodies and practice Mm on the smartboard. Mm is the first letter in our alphabet journal.
Aa- Aa is for apple. Our unit on apples help us learn the letter Aa. We taste apples, graph our favorites, and make applesauce. We form Aa on our geoboards. Ten red apples hanging in a tree…. is our favorite song to sing for the letter Aa.
Tt- Tt is for Teddy Bears. We celebrate Teddy Bear Day and have a picnic at snacktime with our Tt friends. This is a great letter for the month of November. We do the turkey trot to thanksgiving music. This helps us hear the sound of Tt. This is one terrific letter to be thankful for.
