Grade 7 Homework

  Policy
Homework may be given on the first day of the week that your student has a 
Spanish Lesson ( Tuesday or Wednesday). It will be due on the following 
lesson ( Thursday or Friday). 
.  
The Upper Elementary students (6th, 7th and 8th)should not spend more than 
30 minutes on it. 

If work is not finished in alotted time, draw a line where one stopped sign 
it with the parents initials.

Final draft -  Must be typed double space, include accents and proper  
               punctuation 
                          or
               Hand written legibly (skip lines between speakers) and 
               include accents and proper punctuation
Must have:
Use all 3 different ways of introducing yourself or other people.
Be sure to use the formal speech between adult/ adult  and child to adult
Look at your list  Questions- Saludos - Despedidas - Polite and Respectful

1 You are being interviewed by the director Sr. Lopez Moreno of your first 
choice high school.
You are leading the interview. Your parents and one sibling or friend are 
with you also.
Include in your dialogue:   
Greetings.
Introduce yourself and your parents. Remember words of courtesy
Tell how you are and ask how the director is.
Talk about yourself or your friend/sibling…age.
Say goodbye.
Have the director say goodbye to your parents.


2 It is Parents Night at your school.  Your grandparents came instead of 
your parents.
In the classroom, greet your teacher and introduce your grandparents to them.
Greeting words.
Introduce your grandparents to the teacher— use ud. Ad courtesy words.
Teacher asks how your grandparents are.
They (he or she) responds.
Everyone says goodbye.   Remember it is night time.


3 Your are having a study session at your house. The new student is in your 
group.
As they arrive, you greet them in a casual mode.
You are to introduce everyone to your parent(s)
Your parent asks how the new friend is.
He/she respond and ask the question back. – Formal
…time passes and you as they get ready to leave, everyone says goodbye to 
your parents.\
