SCHOOL CLOSING INFORMATION

Holy Child Catholic Schools closing number is 147. If there is inclement weather, it is very important that you listen to KYW News Radio 1060 on the AM band or channels 3, 6 or 10. Those will be the only places where our school closing will be announced.
EVEN IF YOU HEAR ALL PUBLIC AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS ARE OPEN, PLEASE CONTINUE TO LISTEN FOR OUR SCHOOL CLOSING NUMBER. DUE TO THE UNIQUE NATURE OF THE MANAYUNK AREA, WE MIGHT NEED TO CLOSE SCHOOL BECAUSE THE BUSSES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO NAVIGATE THE NARROW STREETS.
If the news media announce that all public and parochial schools are closed, that will automatically include Holy Child Catholic School, and you will not need to listen for the school closing number.
There will be three methods of communicating this information:

2. The front page of the web site
3. School phone alert system
