Welcome to Holy Cross Catholic School in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia! Our primary purpose is to provide a Catholic Christian education in an atmosphere where living and learning are fully integrated with Gospel values. We strive to develop and share the unique talents and gifts of all members of our school community for the praise of God and in service to God's people.

Message from the Principal

We have met with the appeals panel and we will know the status of our school by February 15th. I want to thank all of the parents and children for their letters and prayers of support. Until we hear about the status of our appeal O.M.C. and Holy Cross will continue to plan and try to work out all of the details that would be necessary to create a regional school. The details of these meetings are available on our website under Faith in the Future. As soon as we hear the decision we will inform you.

Roller Skating Roller Skating with Holy Cross! All those who came out to roller skate had a great time!

Bingo and Chili Night Out Thank you for your support! Everyone had a great time at our Bingo and Chili Night Out! Thank you for all who came out to support our school!

Holy Cross welcomed the NED Show! View the NED Show The students enjoyed the NED Show and learned how to never give up along with some yo-yo-ing skills!

Dr. Bresseler visted students! Pictures with Dr. Bresseler Dr. Bresseler visited with students to discuss dentistry and how to take care of your teeth!

SPCA visits Holy Cross! SPCA pictures The SPCA came to visit Holy Cross and brought some special visitors!

6th Grade's Community Service 6th Grade helps at Share Food Bank 6th Grade visited the Share Food Bank and worked with the Archdiocese's Nutritional Development Services, and Peapod to help those less fortunate.

Musicopia Bucket Drumming Musicopia The school enjoyed an assembly from Mr. Leon from Musicopia. 6th Grade is now participating in several weeks of bucket drumming classes.
