It is already the 8th day of May and I'm just now getting to the monthly
news. May came so quickly and we were off and running before we knew it!! Of
course, the biggest news of the month is our Second Graders making their
First Holy Communion. Lena, Hannah, Dillon, and Sebastian made their First
Holy Communion on Sunday, April 29th at St. Mary's in Nanty Glo. Nicholas
made his First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 6th at Immaculate Conception
Church in New Germany. Our First Communion last Saturday was beautiful!! How
wonderful that all of the children have taken this next step of faith!! They
truly love our Lord and want to stay close to Him in Holy Eucharist. Our next
big event will be the May Crowning this Thursday, May 10th. Thank you for
your help in having the children dress in their Communion clothes. They are a
very special part of the May Crowning!! Next week, we will have our class
trip. I know the children will become more excited about it once we begin to
talk about it. And with that, the last big event will be the end of school!
Truly, I don't know where this past school year went. I loved teaching your
children - they are a wonderful group and I will miss them dearly!! Thank you
for a great year!! May the Lord bless you and keep you in His loving care
