This is my first year teaching at Immaculate Conception School and
my second year overall. I spent last year teaching at Visitation BVM
School in Norristown. I received my degree in Political Science with
minors in History and Naval Science. During my time at Penn State, I
completed my Naval Officer's training through Naval ROTC. Upon graduation
from college and ROTC, I was commissioned as an Ensign and reported to
Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia where I completed my initial tours
of duty. Currently, I am a Lieutenant in the United States Navy's
Individual Ready Reserves, having spent several years active duty.
I am currently working on my masters degree from Saint Joseph's University.
I plan on becoming certified in Citizenship, secondary education.
I am married to my best friend Mrs. Dorothea Tuwalski, who is also a teacher.
On December 6th of 2009, we became first time parents to the amazing
Alina Marie Tuwalski.
My goal this year at Immaculate Conception is to create an effective learning
environment in my classroom that will allow my students to enhance their
knowledge to their fullest abilities. While creating an effective learning
environment, I will enforce strong discipline to keep order in the classroom
and to not allow any disruption that could hinder effective learning. Students
will come away with better skills focus through reading, grammar, writing, and
test taking skills.
