Mrs. Fortwangler: Mara Fortwangler graduated from Penn State with a degree
in early childhood education. She has taught in the Keystone Oaks School
District for 20 years. Most of those years she taught kindergarten.
She has also taught third grade. Mrs. Fortwangler has one son of her own
and three step-children. All four kids attended Penn State. She and her
husband enjoy ballroom dancing, gardening, daily crossword puzzles, and
reading.
Mrs. Karras: Nancy Karras has been teaching in the Keystone Oaks School
District since 1980. She is a graduate of West Virginia University where
she received a degree in elementary education and early childhood. She then
attended Duquesne University where she earned a master's degree in reading
instruction. Mrs. Karras and her husband have two daughters and a dog.
Mrs. Karras enjoys playing piano, eating out with her family, and reading.
Mrs. Sting: Jeanne Sting moved from Wisconsin to Pittsburgh in 1987 and she
has taught first grade in Keystone Oaks School District since 1990. She and
her husband enjoy motorcycling touring and have recently travelled to Nova
Scotia and Newfoundland. She has an adult step-son who lives in Wisconsin.
Mrs. Sting also enjoys sewing, quilt-making, reading, and doing many kinds
of puzzles.
