REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK: Accelerated Reader Test this Friday!
MONDAY
* No School
TUESDAY
* The Cay: Students will respond to the following journal prompt: What do
we begin to learn about Phillip's attitude towards black people in chapters 3
& 4? Give at least two examples to support. Students will discuss chapters
3 & 4. Test tomorrow on chapters 1 - 4 (comprehension); Test Thursday on
chapters 3 - 5 vocabulary.
* Adjectives: Introduction to adjectives. Students will complete p. 24 in
packet. HOMEWORK: p. 25.
WEDNESDAY
* The Cay: Quiz - chapters 3 & 4. STudents will listen to chapters 5 & 6
and complete study guide.
* Adjectives: Review p. 25; Introduction to degrees of adjectives, p. 26.
Students will complete WS p. 27.
THURSDAY
* Adjectives: Review homework, p. 27.
* The Cay: Vocabulary quiz, chapters 3 - 5.
* REMINDER: AR Test tomorrow. Be sure all paperwork is completed BEFORE
class.
