Read "Slim Grows Up". Find key words in context. Ask comprehension questions
through out story.
Highlight new key words.
Review phonic's skills and do phonic's book pages 112-115.
Homework: Write a sentence for each spelling review word. Parents may assit
with spelling. Student SHOULD remember capitial letter and period or question
mark.

Read the poem "Good Books, Good Times". Repeat the poem and have them read
along. Use words from the poem to phoneme blend. Phoneme substitute words
from the poem.
Dictate r-controlled words on slate boards.
Do practice book pages 34.
Complete quiz on 35 and 36.
Highlight and read the decodable book "More Corn".
Review new key words using definitions and finding the words in context.
Read "Try Your Best" pages 108-127.
Introduce nouns and complete pages 50 and 51 in the language book.
HOMEWORK: Read the reading book story "Try Your Best" and the decodable
book "More Corn".
