Dear Families,
December will be busy with Christmas activities, our program and the
anticipation of Santa's arrival.
December will also be busy with reading, writing and math. Please go over
your child's classwork and assist in his/her homework. You will be able to
see his/her strengths and where he/she may need help.
Relate our letters and numbers to the season: read a Christmas story
together; count the days until Christmas; name beginning, middle and final
letters and sounds for Christmas objects; count the number of syllables in
words; tec.
Working the season into the lessons lesrned may help your child to remember
more and will give methods to our "madness".
