"LIVE YOUR LIFE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW GOD COME TO KNOW GOD BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU."
WELCOME TO MRS. ZEBRASKI'S HOME PAGE
I look forward with excitement and hope for students and parents as we begin this all important 8th grade year.
Before long you will be thinking about an appropriate high school for your 8th grader. For that reason I have compiled a list of the high schools that I am most frequently asked about. You will be provided with this list at "Back to School Night" on September 17.
I receive numerous requests for high school recommendations each year and I am happy to provide them as they are requested. After you get the application from the school or schools of your choice, send them to me along with a
stamped self-adressed envelope
. I will forward all information in a timely fashion. Many students request multiple recommendations and the forms can be quite lengthy. Please be mindful of due dates when you give them to me and know that I will resepct the fact that this information is time sensitive.
The Neumann Scholarship Test usually takes place in January. Students must meet a certain criteria before they are invited to sit for this test. You will be notified well in advance of the test if your student has met the criteria. If you are thinking of an archdiocesan high school, I encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity that provides winners with a full four year scholarship to the archdiocesan high school of their choice.
You may know that we at Mother of Divine Providence School have had five Neumann Scholars. You can learn the criteria for the test and more about The Neumann Scholarship Program by visiting the website of the Connelly Foundation. (SEE ANNOUNCEMENT PAGE)
We will host a high school expo in Providence Hall on the evening of October 5 and the Universal Archdiocesan Visitaion Day is scheduled for Novemeber 19. More inforamtion about these two important 8th grade events will be forthcoming.
