P.E. Uniform

P.E. UNIFORM CODE

Shirts - gray short sleeve tee shirt with MDP logo

WINTER (November 1 through April 15)

Sweat Pants - long navy blue sweat pants - solid navy or navy with MDP logo. No other logos (e.g. teams, schools or trademarks) are acceptable.

Shirts - grey short sleeve tee shirt with MDP logo.

Sweat Shirt (optional) - navy blue sweat shirt with MDP logo. (Uniform tee shirt must be worn underneath sweat shirt.)

**The navy mesh shorts with the gray tee shirt, both with panther paw logo, are the choices made by our parents. This change is in effect for the 2010-2011 school year for grades 1 through 7, but for eighth grade, Pre-K and Kindergarten students, there will be a transition year. Early childhood students may wear either the mesh of the poly-cotton shorts with gray tee shirt or white golf shirt for 2010-2011. Eighth grade students need not replace shorts in their last year. In 2011-2012, everyone will wear the same PE uniform.

ABOUT SNEAKERS

Students are reminded that they are to wear sneakers in class that are tied and secure on their feet. All sneakers should fit securely so students are not stepping out of and or kicking sneakers off during P.E. activities. This is a danger to everyone. There have been a few accidents already due to improper shoe wear. Please be sure your child (children) comply with this rule.

Also, if there is a change in the school schedule that requires your child on their P.E. day to wear something other than their gym uniform, please be sure that they wear or bring their sneakers for class that day. Thank you!
