About The Principal

Who is Alan Davis?

Mr. Alan Davis is in his fifth year as the Principal of Nazareth Area High 
School. Prior to this position, he served as an Assistant Principal at 
Nazareth Area High School for three years. Mr. Davis considers it a true 
honor and privilege to be the Principal of Nazareth Area High School.

Mr. Davis began his career as a social studies teacher at Pen Argyl Area 
High School in the Pen Argyl Area School District. While teaching history at 
Pen Argyl, he also coached baseball and served as an advisor to a number of 
different activities, including S.A.D.D., yearbook, and the sophomore class 
to name a few.

Mr. Davis also taught social studies at Emmaus High School in the East Penn 
School District for one year. In addition, he coached baseball and served as 
an advisor to several extracurricular clubs and activities. Mr. Davis also 
completed a full year administrative internship, followed by serving as an 
Assistant Principal for one year while at Emmaus High School.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh 
University, Kutztown University, Northampton Community College and Freedom 
High School. He has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, a 
Bachelor’s degree and Pennsylvania certification in Secondary 
Education/Social Studies and an Associate’s degree in Education. He is 
certified as a Secondary School Principal and also recently received his 
Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility certification.

Mr. Davis resides in Nazareth with his wife, Jill, and their daughters, 
Payton and Reese. He enjoys spending time with his family, cultivating and 
maintaining his yard, and attending and supporting the many sporting events 
and extracurricular activities that Nazareth Area High School has to offer.
