I am a Northwestern High School alumni, having graduated in 1989. Following
high school, I attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania to study Music
Education. After almost 4 years working toward that degree, I changed my mind
(as all women have the right to do!!) and decided that Elementary Education
was more suited to my personality. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary
Education in 1993. I started as a substitute teacher at Springfield
Elementary only a few weeks after my graduation!!
The rest is history...
I have had teaching experience in grades 2, 3, 4, and most recently, in full-
day Kindergarten at Northwestern Elementary! This is the beginning of my 17th
year in the Northwestern School District.
My husband, Shaun, and I are truly blessed to have two wonderful children...
our son is in 7th grade at Northwestern Middle School, and our daughter is in
4th grade here at NWE! How fast they grow....
