You child's main homework is to read for 20 minutes each evening, and record
it on his/her monthly calendar. They will receive a grade based on how well
they meet the required time per month. This is only a part of their reading
grade. WE WILL BEGIN READING AND RECORDING ON OCTOBER 1st. Look for a
calendar to come home.
Your child may have homework from shared reading, math, or science. Any work
not finished in class will be homework. Most guided reading assignments are
done in class. Homework is always due to next day, unless otherwise stated.
Check your student's agenda and bookbag regularly. Write me a note in your
student's agenda if you need to get a message to me. Please remind your child
to show me the note when they arrive at school.
